We've always found fast food restaurants to be the highest volume locations. A lot of people move through the store each day. In Edmonton, we've found businesses like car repair shops and doctor/dental offices to be low volume locations. Of course, things are always different in each city. What works for you may not work for us. Just build up a good list of stores and then weed out the ones that don't produce. Other coffee newsletter companies approach distribution locations with a 'shotgun method': put them anywhere and everywhere! They are more concerned with the numbers than the quality of each location. At The Laughable News, we don't want to fool our advertisers by making them think that more is always better. If you put newsletters where they aren't read, it just hurts the advertiser. So aim to place the newsletters where they will be read!
