Home-Based business
- this is a great method for them to advertise on a budget and be seen in their local community.
Fast Food
- While we recommend that you do not advertise food coupons (because it will anger other distribution locations), fast food restaurants may want to advertise for employees. And with your newsletter RIGHT IN their store, they will have a good chance of signing people up.
Medium to Large business
- While they may not need to advertise in a small local newsletter, they may be afraid that their competition will! Sell them the ad with the idea that they are LOCKING OUT their competitors. A few hundred bucks a month won't mean much to them, but locking out their competition will put a BIG smile on their faces.
The trick is to think what each business NEEDS before you go in to sell the ad. Your success rate will increase drastically!
