The Academic (Student) version is the same as the regular version. Usually, only students/teachers are allowed to purchase it. But, if you manage to buy a copy, then you should have no trouble using it.

I actually found the CS4 at a reduced rate and have already purchased it and started working with it but thanks for the offer!

Where did you find it? What price? Was it Adobe Suites CS4 (with Photoshop and Indesign) ?

I found it on eBay from a seller by the name of CWEB. The price was $540 which, for a product that normally lists for $1399 if I remember correctly, was a real bargain. No one else came close and CWEB had stellar ratings. I can vouch for them. They did deliver the product as advertised.
